DM Ravindra Kumar Mandar said that a news is going viral on social media that the entry of vehicles is banned in Prayagraj till February 4. This news is completely false. The scheme of entry and diversion of vehicles in Prayagraj Commissionerate was imposed only on Mauni Amavasya.
Today on 30th almost all the devotees are returning. Therefore, the scheme of diversion is being removed by the police. The entry of vehicles will not be prohibited on February 31, 1 and 4. The scheme of diversion will be applicable only on the day of Basant Panchami on February 2 and 3. There is a separate guideline for the entry of vehicles into the mela area. It will be informed by the mela authority and the DIG.
